House cleaning is a never ending battle. Especially with kids and a dog. It is a circle of life thing. Cleaning is one of those things that has to be done, like breathing. So here is some pointers I have stolen from my wife to make cleaning easier.

1. Never let it pile up
   • Always keep on top of it. Keeping it small and manageable will make it stay cleaner longer and plus it will not seem like a chore.
2. Always include the kids
   • Give them a job
     • Including them will make cleaning a whole lot easier
     • You will actually get more done
3. Set Goals
   • Tell them exactly what you want done
   • Do not be vague
4. Make it a game
   • Be positive
   • Have them count there toys while putting them away
   • Be interactive and joyful
5. Reward
   • Treats are your friend
   • Use snacks, stickers, toys
   • Congratulate them and applaud them
     • they will work harder and be more focused

Remember to have fun and smile. They are kids, let them be kids
