Pre-release privacy notice
This notice describes the planned data behavior for Inflection Point at launch. The app is not currently available for download, and this page will be reviewed against the released build before launch.
Planned Information Handling
- Journal entries and progress data — planned to be stored locally on the device and not transmitted to NickRae.net servers.
- Purchase entitlement information — the optional lifetime-unlock status is planned to be processed through Apple's App Store via RevenueCat. NickRae.net will not store payment details.
- Usage analytics — if included in the released build, aggregate analytics will be documented here before launch.
Data Storage
The planned release stores journal entries, quests, and progress locally. If iCloud Backup is enabled, that local app data may be included according to the device's iOS settings.
Planned Third-Party Services
- RevenueCat — purchase entitlement management for the optional lifetime unlock. Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store — payment processing. Privacy Policy.
Push Notifications
Optional daily reminders are planned and, if present in the released build, will be controlled through iPhone Settings.
Children's Privacy
At launch, Inflection Point will not be directed at children under 13. Nick Rae does not intend to knowingly collect information from children under 13.
