Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how SpendSlap handles information when you use our iOS app.
Information We Collect
- CSV spending data — processed locally on your device and sent to our AI service solely to generate your roast. Not stored on our servers after processing.
- Roast history — stored locally on your device only. Not transmitted to our servers.
- Subscription information — payment processed through Apple's App Store via RevenueCat. We do not store payment details.
CSV Data & AI Processing
When you upload a CSV file, the spending data is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate personalized roast content. This data is not stored by SpendSlap. Please review Google's Privacy Policy for how Gemini handles data.
We recommend removing any sensitive personal information (account numbers, full names) from your CSV before uploading.
Data Storage
Your roast history and app data are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. If you enable iCloud Backup, this data may be included — controlled entirely by your iOS settings.
Third-Party Services
- RevenueCat — subscription management. Privacy Policy.
- Google Gemini — AI roast generation. Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store — payment processing. Privacy Policy.
Account Deletion
You can delete all your SpendSlap data at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all locally stored roast history and spending data.
Children's Privacy
SpendSlap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
